Singing and Vocal Workshops
SingingTune have been very successful in offering vocal workshops to businesses, to choirs, or as a leisure pursuit. We are currently working on a regular basis with Bourne Holidays Ltd in providing them with 'Learn To Sing' workshops as part of their Warner Experience Breaks at their historical castles and buildings around the country.
Please find below a typical layout of a vocal workshop. They can be incorporated into a full day, or spread out over a few days, whatever suits you. Other formats can be offered, tailor-made for your needs.

Session 1
---
The 1st session begins with learning a little about the workings of your voice and how to take care of it (particularly useful for public speaking). Vocal warm-ups are taught and choristers have a laugh with some light-hearted vocal games (learning new skills in a relaxed, non-threatening, non-judgemental environment).
-- Coffee --
Session 2
---
Following coffee, the 2nd session introduces the song that the Choir will learn - a contemporary, upbeat piece of music, that everyone will recognise in it’s most basic of forms, that will later be refined. Choristers will learn the music and words by repeating the instructions from the leader/conductor with a sing-a-long, ‘repeat after me’ approach (which encourages the importance of clear communication and listening carefully to instructions).
-- Lunch --
Session 3
---
After breaking for lunch, the ‘Choristers’ will split into 2 groups to go away and learn their own harmony parts (highlighting that a group need to branch off into their own departments to learn specific details, whilst still relying on other departments to achieve the end result)
-- Coffee --
Final Session
---
The last session of the day brings the whole group together to add their own section details to the final product. Here they learn that whilst needing to rely on their own ‘departments’ it is just as important to blend and unite with the whole of the ‘Choir’, and to take the final direction from their leader in order for everyone to ‘sing from the same hymn sheet’
The end product is a song that all Choristers are singing together, whilst also still adding their own section parts - a workforce united!

What our Clients say
"We found the "Learn to Sing" course at Bodelwyddan Castle a life - enhancing experience, combining much useful advice, enjoyment, and a sense of achievement. We certainly felt inspired to continue singing afterwards. We were impressed by the team's friendly approach, Sian's professionalism, Emma's encouragement and John's skilful accompaniment".
